During a fire loss, emotions can run high. Our caring, thoughtful staff knows how to deal with emotional people at some of the worst of times. We can immediately begin mitigating the loss, and help recover valuable items as needed. We do an itemized content evaluation before anything is ever removed from the premises, and give the customer a list of contents. All salvageable contents are then cleaned, and placed in a secure storage facility to be inspected by the owner before being returned.
Fire Damage Tips:
- Never touch any smoked damaged items with your bare hands. (The oil from your fingertips may permanently “set-in” any residue.
- Do not attempt to clean the structure or contents without first consulting with a professional. Within days, plastics will start to yellow, glass begins to etch, and otherwise once salvageable contents may become permanently damaged.
- Avoid walking across heavily soiled carpet and rugs as much as possible.
- Wear a respirator or mask while in and around fire damaged structures and materials. Burnt material continues to give off obnoxious odors and gases long after the fire is out.
